Conference Room IABP

Institute

More than 80 colleagues at the IABP are doing research and teaching in all fields of Acoustics and Building Physics.

The Institute of Acoustics and Building Physics (IABP) was founded on 1 June 2017 and was formely the Chair of Building Physics (LBP), which was founded in 1984. The Institute adresses current challenges of designing a sustainable built environment. Head of the Institute is Prof. Dr.-Ing. Philip Leistner, who is also the director of the Fraunhofer Institute for Building Physics IBP. The IABP conducts research and teaching in all fields of building physics.
