Human intervention in ecosystems minimizes habitats for animals and thus their populations. For example, about half of the 557 bee species on the red list in Germany are endangered or already extinct. Linda Meier is investigating how a harmonic coexistence of humans and animals in built structures could work without damages. For this reason she investigates an  experimental setus for nesting aids for wild bees integrated into façade. The University of Stuttgart has reported on this.
